Our Caregivers
All of our caregivers have met the staffing standards pursuant to the Chapters 429 Florida Statutes and the 58-A Florida Administrative Codes for Assisted Living Facilities.
They are certified in CPR and First Aid. They have also met the training requirements to provide assistance with self-administration of medications of our residents.

Judith Fermin-Ostrin, MS, RDN, LDN
Administrator
Judy Fermin-Ostrin is the Administrator of Good Sam's. She is responsible for all day-to-day operations. Judy has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including 13 years in medical nutritional sales with Abbott Laboratories, Inc. She has also worked in a leadership capacity as department head in a nursing home, hospital and outpatient clinic settings. In addition, Judy is a Registered Dietitian and has a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from CUNY's Brooklyn College.
Outside of Judy's work, she is passionate about her ministry work at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Palm Coast and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Joseph's Conference in Hewlett, NY. Judy is married to her husband, Steve of 25 years, and has a son Cameron, and daughter Chiara. Judy is also a half marathon runner enthusiast who strongly believes that “health is your wealth"™️.
Jacinta C. Fermin, CPA
Manager / C.F.O.
Jacinta Fermin is the Manager and Chief Financial Officer. She oversees all the financial systems of Good Sam's. Her career as a CPA both in the private and public sectors of the financial services industry spans four decades. Cinta (as she's affectionately called) was also a business owner of a successful accounting firm in New Jersey for 18 years, 1987-2005.
Outside of work, Cinta is a member of AICPA (American Institute of CPAs), NJSCPA (New Jersey Society of CPAs), PAAPC (Philippine-American Association of Palm Coast) and NAR (National Association of Realtors). She has been married to her husband, Leandro Jr. for 60 years. Cinta also cherishes spending time with her four grandchildren.
Chiara E. Ostrin, BA
Social Media~Marketing Manager
Chiara Ostrin is the Social Media and Marketing Manager. She oversees all digital marketing aspects of Good Sam's. Chiara has graduated Cum Laude from the Honor's Program at the State University of New York at New Paltz with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and a minor in Studio Art.
Aside from being our marketing manager she also works for an international non profit in Marketing and Communications. Outside of work, Chiara enjoys nature, yoga, writing, creating art and perfume. She is an avid animal lover.
